South Beach has plenty of big-production hotels, see-and-be-seen places where gawkers outnumber hotel guests in the lobby bar and the pool deck looks like a scene from Fashion Week. They’re plush enough to live in, and that’s part of the idea — they’re available for sale as condominiums, at your disposal when you’re in town and rented to hotel guests when you’re not. It wouldn’t be a bad life — the Sanctuary Salon and Spa are there to serve all your immediate physical needs, and they’ll even go so far as to furnish a jogging companion or yoga partner if you’re feeling lonesome.
